Taiteessa korostuu tekijän pohjaton uteliaisuus. Samuli Heimonen livenä Helsingin Taideyhdistyksen jäsenistölle 7. 2015 luennoimassa muun muassa siitä miten kuvassa voidaan luoda illuusio päättymättömyydestä ja jatkuvuudesta. Hienon taiteilijan upea luento kannusti kuulijat pohjattomaan uteliaisuuteen. Luennosta selvisi myös se että taiteen tekeminen on aina ovien avaamista, uusien alkujen etsimistä sekä olemassaolon johtolankojen hakua.
